Dear Parents and Guardians,

Inspiring Women – Honouring Wisdom, Impact and Community

It was a true pleasure to recently host our 2025 Inspiring Women Honouring Ceremony – a warm and elegant evening that brought together alum from across the decades, each recognised for the meaningful impact they have made in their chosen fields and communities.

The event was superb in every regard – beautifully presented and deeply moving. I was especially proud of our student leaders, who spoke with clarity, confidence and respect as they shared each honouree’s story. Their presence reflected the intergenerational spirit of the evening, where past and present came together in celebration of courage, wisdom and service.

The 2025 Inspiring Women represent a broad range of professions – from humanitarian medicine and public law reform to ethical business, community education and the arts. Yet what united them was not just achievement, but humility. A quiet theme emerged through the stories shared: that real leadership is grounded in listening, relationship and care – values that remain at the heart of a Camberwell Girls education.

I invite you to read more about this year’s honourees and reflect on the enduring legacy of women who continue to shape our world with compassion, intellect and purpose. You can view their profiles on the website https://cggs.vic.edu.au/community/success.

Camberwell Girls Ranked Among the Nation’s Best

Camberwell Girls has been recognised in News Corp’s recently published list of Australia’s Top 100 Private Schools – ranking 4th in Victoria, 10th nationally, and 2nd among private girls’ schools in Victoria.

The report draws on more than 20 performance indicators – including academic outcomes, co-curricular opportunities, student wellbeing and facilities – to highlight schools providing a strong, all-round education.

While media rankings offer one lens on educational success, at Camberwell Girls we believe the true measure of our School lies in the character and contribution of our students and graduates. Their curiosity, compassion and integrity are shaped by a learning culture that values depth, purpose and connection. Through rich educational experiences and a strong sense of community, our students grow to become thoughtful contributors and confident leaders, prepared to make a meaningful impact in the world.

We thank our students, dedicated staff and committed families for the many ways they contribute to our vibrant, values-driven community.

With best wishes,

Debbie Dunwoody
