The Second Hand Uniform Shop (SHUS), proudly operated by the Parents & Friends Association and our dedicated parent volunteers, remains a valuable and sustainable resource for our School community. By offering high-quality pre-loved uniforms at affordable prices, the SHUS supports families while also contributing funds directly back to the PFA to enhance programs and initiatives across the School.
In recent months, our SHUS volunteers have been working tirelessly behind the scenes to review and simplify shop processes. A key focus has been reassessing which items are accepted on consignment, and which are not. This important refinement has eliminated a lengthy process for volunteers who dedicate many hours to sorting through substantial donations. It has also significantly reduced the administrative workload for our volunteers managing accounts.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all SHUS volunteers for their ongoing commitment, and in particular to our lead volunteers, Irene Zhu, Tammy Sim and Tania Oakley, whose leadership, organisation, and countless hours of service have been central to these improvements.
We also sincerely thank our parent community for embracing these changes and for their continued support through donations and purchases. Together, this collective effort ensures the SHUS remains a practical, efficient, and community‑driven service that benefits our entire School.
