The Junior School’s Great Space was filled with excitement as students eagerly browsed the annual Father’s Day Stall in search of the perfect gift for their dad or father figure.
A special thank you goes to our dedicated parent volunteers, whose commitment and enthusiasm make this much-loved tradition possible each year. From researching and sourcing thoughtful gifts to ensuring items remain affordable for families, this wonderful group invests a significant amount of time behind the scenes to create a meaningful experience for students.
The stall provides far more than an opportunity to purchase a gift. Students enjoy the independence of selecting a special item for someone important in their lives, while also gaining valuable experience handling and managing cash as they make their purchases.
The event was very successful, with every student able to find a thoughtful gift to celebrate their dad or father figure. We extend our sincere thanks to all of the parent volunteers whose hard work, care and generosity helped create such a memorable occasion for our students and families.
Members of the Camberwell Girls community enjoyed the opportunity to explore the newly reimagined Barbara Sutton Hall during a special Open House event.
Guests were invited to wander through the Hall at their own pace, experiencing the transformed learning, performance and gathering spaces firsthand. The afternoon attracted a range of visitors, including alum spanning the Classes of 1967 to 2025, current and past parents, students, staff, neighbours and families considering future enrolment at the School.
A highlight of the afternoon was the performance and rehearsal program provided by our VCE Music students, whose talent brought the Hall to life and showcased the exceptional acoustics and purpose-built performance spaces. Their professionalism and musicianship were widely praised by visitors.
The event generated many positive comments, with guests expressing their admiration for the thoughtful design and welcoming atmosphere of the Hall. We also extend our thanks to our alum volunteers, whose enthusiasm and support helped make the afternoon such a success.
It was wonderful to welcome so many members of our community and celebrate this exciting new chapter for Barbara Sutton Hall.
