Today, Mrs Dunwoody farewells the Class of 2026.
Laughter, shared memories and heartfelt reunions filled Barbara Sutton Hall over the weekend as hundreds of alum returned to the School for Reunion Weekend, celebrating their 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45 and 50 year reunions. Held across two days, the event provided a special opportunity for alum to reconnect with classmates, renew friendships and spend time with both past and current staff.
The warmth and enthusiasm in the room were unmistakable, with lively conversations and shared memories filling the space as guests reflected on their time at the School and the experiences that helped shape their lives. Among those returning were three of the School’s Inspiring Women, Gen Dohrmann (Class of 2006), Frankie Layton (Class of 2006) and Dr Jacqui Richmond (Class of 1991), who joined their fellow alum in celebrating this special milestone and reconnecting with the School community.
For many, returning highlighted the enduring connection they feel to the School and the significant role it has played in their personal and professional journeys. Reunion Weekend is always a highlight on the alum calendar, bringing together generations of alum and reinforcing the lifelong bonds that begin at school. It was wonderful to see so many alum reconnecting, celebrating shared experiences and continuing their relationship with the School long after graduation.

The Parents and Friends Association (PFA) was proud to support the official opening of the VCE Creative & Performing Arts Exhibition, a highlight of the School’s creative calendar. The exhibition provides a wonderful opportunity for VCE students to showcase the outstanding works they have created throughout their studies, celebrating their talent, creativity and dedication.
On the evening, PFA volunteers warmly welcomed guests, serving refreshments and beverages while helping to create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for students, families and staff. The PFA is always eager to support students and the School at significant events, and it was a pleasure to be involved in recognising and celebrating the achievements of our young artists.
Congratulations to all students whose work was featured or students who performed as part of the exhibition. Their creativity and commitment were on full display, making for an inspiring and memorable evening. We also extend our sincere thanks to the PFA volunteers, who generously gave their time to support the event and help make the evening such a success.

It has been a busy start to Term 4 with Year 11 - 12 Presentation Evening and many musical achievements.
