The annual Sapphire Circle reunion lunch was a wonderful afternoon of memories, friendship, and joyful laughter. We were genuinely excited to reunite alum from over 51 years ago. Alongside our beloved regulars, it was a pleasure to meet some wonderful new faces. This gathering was undeniably special.
The afternoon began with a tour of the school guided by our dedicated School Ambassadors and concluded in the Brooksbank Library. There, guests enjoyed a nostalgic slide presentation while savouring a delicious lunch.

The past few weeks have been heartfelt as our Year 12 students in the Class of 2024 celebrated their significant journey at CGGS. The Leavers Service was a wonderful occasion full of emotion to honour and commend each student on their remarkable achievements. It was also an opportunity to thank staff and the School for the support and nurturing of our students.
We were delighted to welcome esteemed Alums, including Ros Chaffey (1984), mother of Megan; Alissar Khoder (2002), mother of Serene; Vicki Pandeli (1992), mother of Sofia P; and Robyn Troutbeck (1992), mother of Sofia S, who graciously presented the Old Grammarian badges.
Additionally, during the Valedictory Service, we were entertained by Tiel Lillehagen, father of Ava, and member of the School’s Property Council. He spoke about his long association with CGGS as Ava commenced in Foundation at Ormiston. We thank him for his contributions to the School.
Celebrating these milestones with our community has truly been a memorable experience!
