Save Your Seat: A Day Powered by Community

Our recent Giving Day, Save Your Seat, was a wonderful celebration of community spirit and shared purpose, and we are delighted to reflect on what was truly a memorable day for Camberwell Girls.

At the heart of the activity was our Operations Room, where an extraordinary group of parent volunteers came together to support the initiative. Throughout the day, this dedicated team generously gave their time and energy, connecting with members of our community, sharing the vision for Barbara Sutton Hall, and encouraging support for this important project. The atmosphere was one of enthusiasm, warmth and genuine pride in our School.

Their efforts, combined with the generosity of our broader community, contributed to an outstanding result. While the numbers speak strongly for themselves, it was the sense of connection and shared commitment that made the day so special. Each conversation reflected a deep appreciation for the role Barbara Sutton Hall has played in the life of the School and the excitement for what it will continue to offer future generations.

We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who supported Giving Day – whether by sponsoring a seat, volunteering time, or cheering us on throughout the day. Your support ensures that Barbara Sutton Hall will continue to be a place where creativity, performance and community flourish.

As we look ahead to the opening of Barbara Sutton Hall, there is a genuine sense of anticipation and pride. Thanks to our community, this remarkable space will soon welcome students, families and friends, continuing a rich legacy for years to come.
