Camberwell Girls proudly celebrated the 100th birthday of beloved alum Roma Drummond OAM (Brunt, 1943), a milestone honouring a life of wisdom, generosity, and enduring connection to our School.
Roma is recognised as one of our Camberwell Girls Inspiring Women, a Life Governor of the School, and continues to support the Roma Drummond Award for Contribution to Middle School Drama. To mark this special occasion, the School hosted an intimate morning tea with Principal Debbie Dunwoody, former Principal Anne Feehan, and Roma’s school friends.
The celebration was filled with laughter, stories, and heartfelt appreciation for Roma’s remarkable legacy, one that continues to inspire generations of Camberwell Girls students and staff.

Award-winning designer and Camberwell Girls alum Lillie Osborne (Class of 2023) returned to officially open the 2025 VCE Art Exhibition on Thursday 9 October in the R.M. Westcott Wing. Currently studying Fashion Design at the Whitehouse Institute of Design, Lillie was recently awarded First Place in the Wool4School Design Competition for her innovative use of wool.
The exhibition celebrated student creativity across painting, sculpture, photography, textiles, digital media and more, showcasing the depth of talent within our Art & Design Department.
A warm thank you to the Parents and Friends Association for generously providing beverages on opening night and to our dedicated PFA volunteers for their support. Congratulations to our student artists and staff for an inspiring and memorable showcase.
