Today Mrs Dunwoody shares a piece written by one of our School Counsellors about how to support young people during challenging times.
The Junior School Hall came alive with music, movement, and community spirit during the Junior School Disco. An event made truly special by the creativity and leadership of our House Dance Captains. Instead of hiring a DJ, our Secondary students took the reins, curating an energetic playlist and planning engaging activities tailored for our younger students.
From the moment the music began, the hall was filled with dancing and pure joy. It was heartwarming to see our older students not only organising the event but also joining in the fun, dancing alongside the Juniors, leading games, and fostering a warm, inclusive atmosphere.
This event was a shining example of student-led initiative and cross-year connection. Watching our Secondary students step into leadership roles and build meaningful relationships with the younger girls was truly inspiring. The disco was more than just a celebration of music, it was a celebration of community, mentorship, and shared joy.
A huge thank you to our House Dance Captains for their enthusiasm, creativity, and leadership. Their efforts made the night unforgettable for everyone involved!

The PFA Yum Cha Lunch was a delightful new addition to the calendar, bringing together 40 parents for an afternoon of delicious food and genuine conversation. Held in a relaxed and welcoming setting, the event offered a refreshing change of pace and fostered a strong sense of community. It was wonderful to see connections forming over shared plates and laughter, making the lunch not just a meal, but a meaningful experience. Barbara Peng, our International Student Coordinator, added a special touch to the occasion, highlighting the inclusive spirit of the gathering. A fantastic success for the PFA, here’s to more events that bring our community together in new and joyful ways!
