Mrs Dunwoody reflects on the significance of the creative arts and last week’s Junior School Art Show.
The House Drama event brought together families and students for a night of entertainment and community. The PFA played a key role, setting up a kiosk in the Barbara Sutton Hall foyer to sell pre-show snacks. It was a great opportunity for the PFA to welcome families to the show and build stronger connections with the school community. Our six dedicated volunteers worked tirelessly behind the kiosk, providing refreshments and creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. Their efforts added to the evening’s enjoyment and helped raise funds for the PFA, which was a wonderful success.
We are incredibly excited to announce that the Parents and Friends Association showed tremendous support for the VCE Art and Design Exhibition opening night on Thursday 10 October by graciously supplying refreshments for the event.
The exhibition was opened by alum, May Du (2023), and Robinson Hall was abuzz with anticipation as delighted family and friends gathered to appreciate the amazing work of our talented student artists. A heartfelt thank you goes out to our fantastic PFA volunteers for their invaluable contributions, for May for coming back to the School and heartfelt congratulations to our exceptional Art & Design Department and students for such an extraordinary show.
