Today, Mrs Dunwoody talks about an international educators' conference that Camberwell Girls will be hosting next term.
Our recent Careers Evening was a vibrant and informative event, bringing together alum, parents, universities, tertiary institutions and staff to support students as they explore their future pathways. The evening provided a valuable opportunity for students to engage in meaningful conversations, gaining insights into a wide range of study options, career journeys and industries.
Through these discussions, students were encouraged to think carefully about their subject selections and how these choices can shape future opportunities, including entry into tertiary courses. The guidance offered gave students real “food for thought,” helping them connect their interests and strengths with possible pathways beyond school.
A highlight of the evening was the generosity of our community. We are incredibly grateful to our alum and parent volunteers, as well as our partners in tertiary education, for sharing their time, knowledge and experiences. Their willingness to support students reflects the caring and connected community we are proud to be part of.
Events like this not only provide practical information, but also inspire confidence, ensuring our students feel supported as they make informed decisions about their future.
