Our Local Enrolment & Admissions Process
We are delighted you are considering to enrol your child at Camberwell Girls Grammar School.
Our Admissions Office processes local and international student enrolments, conducts School Tours and Information Mornings throughout the year, and manages the Scholarships program.
We invite you to read our School Prospectus to learn about our programs and our strong academic achievement. We also suggest that when you attend an Information Morning or School Tour that you collect further information about our school curriculum, co-curricular activities, experiences and opportunities that we offer our students in and out of the classroom.
Our main intake years are:
> Early Learning Years 3 and 4 (girls and boys)
> Foundation
> Year 5
> Year 7
> Year 10
There may be some vacancies available in other year levels depending on place availability.
Please contact our Admissions Office to discuss vacancies.
We are an open entry school from Early Learning to Year 12. The Early Learning Centre enrols 3 year old and 4 year old girls and boys. The Early Learning Centre is a pathway to the school for girls only.
Preference at Camberwell Girls Grammar School may be given to an affiliation of the school (in no particular order) to a:
> sibling currently or previously enrolled at the school
> a child of an alumnae
> child of a practising Anglican Clergy employed by a parish
> child of a permanent staff member of the school
> resuming student who was offered priority at the time of departure and paid a holding fee
> date of application
> one of a number of applicants from the same immediate family
The first step is to view this enrolment procedure, our Enrolment Policy and our Fees and Business Regulations which outlines the fees for each year level.
The second step is to complete our online enrolment form accompanied by the non-refundable application fee and the supporting documentation.
Your application will then join a waitlist until the school commences reviewing enrolments for the year level requested. You are welcome to contact the Admissions Office to discuss the progress of your enrolment.
When a place becomes available we will invite you to confirm your interest. The school will request that an Admissions Questionnaire be completed and that you provide school reports. We will schedule a conversation with the Head of School as part of the enrolment process.
In offering a place, our Admissions Office will send you a Letter of Offer. To accept and confirm your place, both parents or guardians (if applicable) will sign an Enrolment Agreement and a Code of Conduct. A non-refundable enrolment confirmation fee as well as an advance on school fee payment (by the due date) will be required.
Deferment
Enrolments can be deferred for entry in a later year following an acceptance of a place however, deferments will be added to the waitlist and it is not guaranteed that a place will be available at that time
