Year 12 Leavers Service & Valedictory Dinner

It has been a busy time celebrating the Year 12s in their final week at CGGS. The Leavers Service recognised all our Year 12 students and they were presented with their Old Grammarian badges which were presented by

  • Kate Locke, mother of Isabella Georges
  • Dr Jackie Graham (Herington, 1989), mother of Mia Graham
  • Terry McAleenan, father of Eun Bee McAleenan
  • Annabelle Brant, mother of Lucy Brant

Through these important milestones, our Class of 2023 now belong to a part of something much bigger – the thousands of grammarians who have experienced a Camberwell Girls education and have now moved on to continue to influence broader communities to build a more just and sustainable world.

The Year 12 Valedictory Dinner was a wonderful way for students and parents to celebrate with staff and acknowledge their amazing journey at CGGS. Tracey Tremewen, mother of Isabella Tremewen was invited to speak on behalf of the Year 12 parents at the Valedictory dinner.

All occasions have been received with heartfelt gratitude and we have been pleased to have been able to honour the students in this way and involve our parent and Old Grammarians.
