The Sapphire Circle reunion is for Old Grammarians who have left the school 50 years ago or more. This year we had 32 guests attend the reunion High Tea on Saturday 7 October. As in other years, a wonderful time was had, reminiscing and reconnecting with old friends. This year it was held in the Brooksbank Library. There were 2 Inspiring Women present at the High Tea (Jennifer Ross, 1960 and Roma Drummond, 1943) and it was great to be able to highlight these women to the guests. The guests were taken on an optional tour of the school prior to the lunch and they were invited to view the VCE art exhibition currently being held in Robinson Hall.
The Parents and Friends Association was proud to support the VCE Art Exhibition opening night on Thursday 5 October providing refreshments at the launch event. The opening night guest speaker was Old Grammarian Tracey Samios (Bird, 1980). Robinson Hall was filled with proud family and friends marvelling at the work of our budding student artists. Congratulations to our amazing Art & Design Department and students on curating such a spectacular show.
