NASA Space Camp
“In Florida I met an astronaut and learnt that he was just an ordinary man who had a dream of going to space. It was inspirational to learn that these ordinary people were really no different to us. They each had a dream of achieving their goals which amounted to something extraordinary. This proves if you put your mind to something you can achieve anything.” – Ariane Webber
Over the summer holidays I spent 5 weeks in the middle of winter in the beautiful continent of Europe. My French exchange was run by an organisation called Almost French and I stayed with a lovely host family and their adorable cat! At the school I went to in France there were several other Australians from various schools in Melbourne. We became a close group and on this trip I made both international and national friendships. This exchange was invaluable for my French language skills and I will never forget the wonderful memories created on the trip!
