This page outlines planned changes to traffic flow, access and movement around the Secondary School campus during the Barbara Sutton Hall redevelopment. It is intended to help all members of our community plan ahead and navigate the area safely while works are underway.
While every effort will be made to minimise disruption, construction activity can change at short notice. Any short-term or unplanned impacts, such as temporary gate closures or revised drop-off zones, will be communicated via our SMS Alerts service.
Construction on Barbara Sutton Hall is expected to take place from May 2025 – May 2026, during the following hours:
Monday – Thursday: 7.00am – 6.30pm
Friday: 7.00am – 5.00pm
Saturday: 9.00am – 5.00pm
While access to the Secondary School is expected to remain unchanged, there will be increased vehicle movement and deliveries via Woodstock and Torrington Streets that could temporarily affect access. Traffic Management will be in place to support deliveries, which will be scheduled outside of peak pick-up and drop-off hours where possible.
Please note: All areas shaded in red are strictly off-limits to students, staff and non-construction visitors until construction is complete.
We are committed to keeping our community informed of any short-term access changes that may impact school drop-off, pick up or daily operations.
Families and staff members who regularly travel to and from the School are encouraged to sign up to our SMS Alerts for timely notifications regarding temporary traffic or access updates.
